Why do I have mismatched and discolored concrete?

Untreated concrete is essentially similar to a hard sponge. Its tiny pores absorb just about any moisture that comes into contact with it, including oil, gasoline, and other chemicals that can leave permanent and unattractive stains. If you live in a region where temperatures drop below zero, another issue could involve the freeze/thaw cycle. Water enters the concrete’s pores, where it freezes and expands, breaking the walls of the pores and causing surface deterioration over time.

But our DecoShield concrete stain protects the slab surface, preventing its pores from absorbing moisture, and adds a pleasing tint that can help minimize existing stains and hide mismatched slabs. That makes it a classic win-win!
